Privacy and cookies
This site collects as little as it can: what you send us in a request form, page-view counts without cookies, and Google Analytics only if you accept it.
Requests you send us
When you use the quote, sample or contact form, we receive your name, company, country, email address, and anything else you choose to add (WhatsApp number, volume, message). We use it to answer your request and to follow up on it as a business enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, and on taking the steps you ask for before a possible contract. We keep requests as business correspondence for as long as the business relationship needs them; ask us and we will delete yours.
Your request is stored on our web server and delivered to our sales inbox (Google Workspace), our internal team chat (Telegram) and the spreadsheet we use to keep track of requests (Google Sheets).
The form pages use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out automated spam. It checks your browser and IP address when you load and send the form, for the security of the site.
Page-view counts, without cookies
We count visits with our own installation of Umami, on our own server. It sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. It records the page, the referring site, the browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and the country and region derived from the IP address. We use these counts, in our legitimate interest, to see which pages are useful.
Google Analytics, only if you accept
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, your browser loads Google Analytics, which sets
cookies (_ga and _ga_…, kept for up to two years) to tell repeat visits from new ones.
Google then processes your IP address and information about your visit on our behalf, and
keeps the visit data for 14 months. We use it for statistics only: Google signals and
advertising features are turned off. The legal basis is your consent, which we ask again
after 12 months.
If you click “Decline”, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” at the foot of each page; declining after accepting stops Google Analytics on the page and removes its cookies.
Your choice itself is saved in your browser’s local storage, so that we do not ask again on every page.
Hosting
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site against attacks. Our pages are served from our own server and, when it is unavailable, from a second server rented from Vultr.
Data outside Vietnam and the European Union
Google, Cloudflare, Telegram and Vultr may process data outside Vietnam and the European Union. Google and Cloudflare do so under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use, by writing to the email address below. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. If you are in the European Union, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
