Import duties on Vietnamese cassava, sweet potato and pumpkin ingredients
The standard duty a buyer pays on each product, against the rate for goods of Vietnamese origin, and how that compares with Thailand and China. In the EU, goods of Vietnamese origin pay no duty on any line shown here: the EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) brings the rate to zero, or the standard duty is zero already. Every line links to the official tariff so you can check it.

Before you rely on a rate
- *United States: additional duties on goods of Vietnamese origin apply on top of the standard rate and change often, so they are not shown here. Check the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (opens in a new tab) and CBP guidance for the date of import.
- European Union: the 0% rate needs valid proof of Vietnamese origin under the EVFTA. Without it, the standard duty applies.
- The tariff lines are an indicative classification of each product. The importer and the customs authority confirm the classification.
